@naomi: These swings are just one of the cool features at Nek Chand’s Rock Garden. All the sculptures and creations makes one feel like a kid again. I’d definitely recommend a trip up (think it’s up) to visit!

Last I was in Chandigarh was in 1978. So things must have changed a lot since then. I remember the Rock Gardens but I don’t remember these swings….

@Henry: The swings are set up in the far area of Nek Chand’s Rock Garden – the whole park is great, but the swings were especially fun.

@Sutapa: It seems like the Rock Garden is being expanded, bit by bit. The area of the swings looked relatively recent. It was a nice area with snack bars and friendly people. Now you’ve got a reason to return :)

@Jordan: Yes, the zoom function and moving around the image is very cool. Many people don’t realize they can interact with the panorama – glad you figured it out!

@Andi: It was a lot of fun! If you look closely, you can see that I’m on one of the swings. And, we met several other young Indians in this area who treated us to tea and snacks and great conversation. Lovely place.
